Originally from Trinidad, I came to the UK to study graphic design. After graduation I returned home and realised it wasn't for me. This lead to the decision to return to the UK and dedicate myself to learning the art of tattooing.

My style draws influence from the old masters of fine art, the new age of graphic design and also my love for street art and letterforms. I focus on achieving heavy contrast and clean readability which makes a world of difference when it comes to the overall impact of the piece, even from a distance.

Designs
I create all of my designs from scratch in my own style in order to deliver something unique every time. Your idea, my art <3
The bulk of the design is done at the start of the session with you. I believe the tattoo should be a collaborative effort between client and artist; us working on it together allows for a far more efficient collaboration than going back and forth over email. Of course we will discuss your idea as thoroughly as possible before any bookings are made. This just refers to the actual making of the design.
I work from high quality photo references as this allows for the best results. It can be time consuming to find the perfect references that fit exactly what we are trying to achieve. For this reason I will gather references and plot a very rough draft of the composition before we meet (which of course can be changed and revised together on the day - this is just so we have a starting point and for me to show you where my head is at regarding design).
Pricing
Because I make designs custom and this takes time, I typically work on a day session basis. The day session allows for us to comfortably work through the design & tattoo process without us feeling rushed and pressured for time. It's work that will be on your body forever so I rather take the time to make sure it's perfect. For this reason I offer a discounted hourly rate for clients who book the day session to incentivise a more comfortable experience for us both.
